PERSONALITY:

Zen is outwardly a very calm person. He'll hardly ever express his real emotions unless provoked. But he does find great joy in making sarcastic comments on other people's actions and messing with them in general. (He's suprisingly sensitive when insulted or made fun of by others though. He'll usually express this by saying something completely out of character or insulting the other person.)
If there is any kind of threat he prefers to TRY to act indifferent no matter how much it actually effects him. But he WILL usually run away if something looks seriously threatening. (he'll call it a "tactical retreat" later to make himself feel better.)

He is also pretty lazy when it comes to working and quickly gets bored if he has to do the same thing more than a few times. He really enjoys new situations but will also lose interest in them quite quickly as soon as he sees there's nothing more he can get out of them.
When it comes to teamwork he becomes completely useless (unless he's the leader) as he has great trouble with working WITH people because he finds it hard to trust them. (Not to mention he takes a while to catch on when it comes to any task assigned to him. He often pretends to understand though because he doesn't want to look like an idiot. This is the main reason he loses his jobs so often.)

HISTORY:

Zen has no real memories of his past. He only remembers waking up in the middle of a town in the supernatural realm (around 5 years ago) with no real memory of who he was or why he was there.
He quickly realized he wasn't in the human world and of course he took a while to adapt to the new situation.
After living on the streets for about a year he heard about the portals to the human world by chance. That was when he decided to find a job and save up money so he could travel to the human world, hoping he could find out more about his past there.

He spent a few years working the odd job here and there, Saving money for his goal where he could. He was often fired because he lost interest in most jobs after only a few weeks (He was also very bad at most of them) . But somehow he managed to get enough money together to at least travel to the highest layer of the supernatural realm. He was able to sneak through the main portal and get to the human world without paying.

When he stepped through the portal he found himself in a town. It was dark so he couldn't quite tell where he could be so he decided to look for someone to ask....
