This anime left me with quite the impression I thought with it's style of animation it would have been a romance anime. Just with mechs as a backdrop however I was plesantly surprised with the complexity not to mention the addressing of warfare being brutal and unforgiving. I loved it very much Season 2 is being pretty awesome though I hope it ends on a ligther note than the first lol
