Description
This is the finished painting of a sketch I did a few years ago based on the waltz (valse) from Rachmaninoff’s suite for 2 pianos No. 2 Op 17 ! I kept the content of the piece straight forward and simple. like the original post said, I just wanted to convey the rich, lush sound and atmosphere of the piece (from 1:50 on) and the pure bliss inspired in me. I hope you can feel the happiness I felt too when you look at the drawing!

The lighting as well as their poses and expressions really set the lively tone perfectly and fit the music really well too, so I'd say you did a great job of getting across that happiness
