Commission for !That's her so pretty OC, Ophelia. She asked me a "traditionnal framed vintage portrait of Ophelia". Not really knowing what is a traditionnal framed vintage portrait, I based this drawing on pictures she sent me as exemples, hoping that the result is what she wanted, because I had a lot of fun making the decorations of the frame! XD As you can see, I used feather and laurel leaves to make it all, like her cutie mark.
I chose purple/lavender as the primary color, because of her eyes and cutie mark. I turned around a lot to find something pretty and smooth for the eyes, knowing Ophelia is a light color pony. Dark colors didn't work at all. I chose gold/brown too, because I like this color associated with purple. SAI canvas/paper/watercolor layer option were perfect to do the textures!
For the pony, I really like how she turned out! Her hair is like whipped cream XD I showed the drawing before posting it to Laurel, and she asked some changes on the pony. Seeing the old version versus the new one, I find the old one so ugly now XD So that were some good changes^^

I simply adore how my darling Ophelia turned out to be. I must have this portrait hung on the walls of her bedroom ~ This magnificent piece of artistry portrays her elegant and grace in perfection.

It would be a pleasure, but not right now, I have other drawings I want to do/finish since 2012 for myself, and if I continue to take commission because it's fun, I won't be able to do them XD It would be another story if I wasn't so slow ^^'
But you can still send me by note what you want if you're not in a hurry, so I can begin it if I feel like it^^
