Ok, I promise this is the last of my trite sunset submissions. I've just never really had one turn out so purple, so I thought I'd share. Sure, it wasn't that hard a shot to take, but it's beautiful nonetheless.Related content

This is weird. I really feel I know this piece for some reason...I've seen it. The feeling is more than just having seen it submitted....I mean, I know I saw it on DA, but why does it stand out so much?
I guess we'll never know. Anyway, it IS a good shot. I like how the abnormally colored bordered actually works well with this. Is this the "solitude" place you spoke of ealier? Or was that about a river?

N I C E ! ! ! I like the pitch-blackness at the bottom of the photo. Funny that the light sand during the daytime turns into this raven-black velvet while the sun is setting. Amazing capture...one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen!

Interesting tones. I love the sky, but the foreground area is too dark for my liking - it seems like unuse space.
The lines around the sun look awesome. I love the contrast between the two colours - a great combination.
I think that if you had position the horizon on the lower third that the composition would be alot more effective. Showing more of the cloud, and also capturing (I imagine, ) a great gradient in the sky.
