Brilliant!
I did some work like this some years ago. It is not as easy as people would think to abstract an image like this and still make it look right. I was using photographs, a scissors, and cow gum (a glue that was rubber based and you could clean it off the face of the photo collage without damaging the print).
what i was following was in the line with the thought of the cubists, abstracting an image to highlight specific shapes and details, this leads to the viewer to look at details that maybe overlooked ordinarily.
