Description
It does exactly what is says on the label!The design may look familiar to a couple of you [link] Just practicing to get better at working digitally and understanidng colour, getting there. Still have a long way to go.
Quite pleased with the final turn out.
Program used: Coral Painter 7.
Tool of the trade: Digital Airbrush.
Time taken: over a period of 5 weeks.

somewhat out of balance, but its still incredible, specialy the colouring style!
hands ususaly are a massive issue for me, so i pay alot of attention to them, and i can tell you that the hands u drew, although need abit of practice in angles, they sure are amazing and very detailed!

Well at the time it was merely practice and I feel I didn't tackle it perfectly. However, it's nice to know how much the colour is appreciated in this piece for it has always been the highlight when certain things I have created.

I like the colouring very much, but it does looks a little odd that Sonic's skin doesn't virtually have any lineart, but then again his gloves do.
It's like Sonic has been made with really soft colour changes, but then the gloves are quite radical and sharp. It makes you pay attention more to his gloves than him..
But the pose is pretty good, and the atmosphere, like he's challenging me to a fight, is very good.

Well thank you very much for that swell comment. This was more about colour exploration and trying an assortment of idea which may explain why certain ares are softer or harder defined. Still, it's a nice insight and something i need to look out for in later piece of work so thanks for mentioning it.

Really great work Sam, I love what you did with it. I'm no good with extremely detailed comments ut the shading and colour scheme is really nice, I also like the simple background.
