Owwww well....Spain pretty much had a clean win by the first half. Then they send Torres in later in the second half to score, and double tap that with Mata at 88 minutes.

well...nothing will ever beat 9-0 by Portugal. that one was just plain cruel. (but also, North Korea...how....?)

4-0 isn't weird. though it's the first time that happens in a final.

What's funny though everyone was bashing Portugal, saying thanks to him those poor players would likely be killed when they arrived back home, or Korea would declare war on Portugal and nuke him as a revenge
Port's reaction was he didn't give a damn. He wouldn't go soft on someone on the soccer field just because of politics. To him those are 2 completely unrelated matters

that was just stupid. If a strong team has to go soft on a weak team for politics then..idk only Russia or countries with power/nuke would win. (this is not Eurovision)

(and I doubt any country would be stupid ebough to go to war because they lose a soccer game)

and, actually, though I was like "OMG Spain, stop being mean to Italy!" I think them playing to their best was the only thing they could do. They can't be like "well, clearly we will win, let's just chill" (though I thought that's what happen during the world cup. "Guys, we got a goal, let just pass the ball around, Casillas' not letting anything into out goal anyway.") And it was the final, you can't go soft on someone in the final.

same goes for Port with North Korea.
