well, nowadays I would use a brush, but all the fur in that image was drawn by hand and it took me a whole day just for the fur D:

oh my gosh, I was just really crazy! and gosh no, it's no secret! back then, I think I was using a hard round opacity flow brush on like. . . 3px big or something. I dont have a brush for short hair, but I do have a brush for long hair, such as the hair on this dragon [link]

oh gosh, If I did, my memory has blocked it. and yes it's okay if you use CS3, my brushes will still work c: the hair brush is HUGE (sorry) but you can always make it a smaller size
