could you explain a little bit how you colour?
I tried a lot, but I cannot get that same feel... my pictures all seem so wrongly coloured... cold and bumpy, and I cannot find real helpful tutorials (maybe also cuz I'm lazy and didn't turn DA all over..)
I don't want to colour exactly like you, I cannot do that.. yet.
and another question, if it isn't to personal or something like that, how old are you? I'm 15... and I'm curious how other ppl draw when having that age, so I can compare myself. (but actually, I think you're older, but I dunno how much)

This is lovely. The colors are great, and I truely love the magic. Really nice.
I've started working with Photoshop, but as I've only had basic training in it, I still havent learned how to use all the functions... like blending colors, I can't get them to work the same in PS as in my other prgram CGIllust. Wish I knew how to color similar to you, ah well. This is a great piece!

thank you so very much for the compliments! I wish there was a way I could help you. If you had any interface questions, you could surely ask me :c as for blending of the colors, I usually use a large "hard round opacity flow" brush with all the default settings

dude do you use photoshop? cause i can never figure out how you color your things but yet still seem to keep you sketched drawing lines how they are! do you think you can tell me?

Β€Yep I use photoshop. Actually my sketch lines originally looked like this [link] (i forgot his hair in the original sketch).
Β€And then i traced back over it and linearted it to look like so [link]
Β€Then I layed down dark colors and began adding the highlights like this [link]

Β€of course I added the magic last 
sorry they're all sideways, the drawing is for a journal header . I flip the drawing a lot because my hand moves more comfortably in some directions rather than others, haha. Anyway, i hope that helped in some way or form. I wont tell you specifically how I color because I've formed my style on my own and it's best you do the same thing. You're lucky you asked me on a picture where I had saved a bunch of progress shots XD
