It really, REALLY hurt to write the dialogue on this one.I mean, it was almost physically painful.
I'm not kidding.

EDIT: I'm not making fun of anime. I LOVE anime. I watch anime all the freakin' time. What I'm making fun of are the hyper, Japanese-abusing fangirls who run around throwing around words like "kawaii" and "sugoi" like that means they know the language. It's annoying and I'm mocking it.
And I wanted to draw Malory and Kathryn in that style, I'll admit it.

What I really hate about people like that is that they made "desu" a bad thing. I mean it's what you're supposed to say at the end of a formal sentence! (if you're speaking Japanese that is)

Yeah I hate when they use those few words in Japanese but then the rest of there sentence is English I mean I pretty sure they have an English meaning for that word and you can use that instead of half ass speaking Japanese =_=

When I fangirl, I do it in more of an "I think I'd be friends with this character if he/she were real" kind of way than a "OMG HE IS SO KAWAII BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH RANDOM 'JAPANESE' GIBBERISH BLAHBLAHBLAH -shot-" kind of way. I can't even understand what those people are saying half the time (hence the "gibberish").

I agree and this comic is a PERFECT way to put it. It can be really annoying when you get people screaming at you for being a stupid fangirl when you're just trying to seriously learn Japanese. They put all anime fans in a bad spot.
