We recently got a new employee at work, and through a random conversation I found out she's into anime, and more so, she's a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist. So in our little geek out sessions at work I've been motivated to do more fan art... and pull out my Brotherhood blu-rays to watch again for the third time in like a year >> << As I was shuffling through them I came across the cover of disc two and decided I needed a challenge. I haven't used my graphites lately so I thought it would be interesting to practice on a picture with such intense contrast, not to mention flames(oh god they're so hard to recreate in black and white >.< )I hope they look okay, but they kind of seem more like lightning than anything to me :/
