Description
Random. The purpose was to do an all ballpoint piece again. I try to do one or more every year, it's a great exercise in hand-eye coordination. The dog thinger was an afterthought, I just wanted to keep going.

This is quite lovely! Ah, whenever I do ballpoint pen sketches, they tend to end up with ink clumps. I need to keep a towel or something in hand to keep the tip clean.

The ones you use to write with normally? The ones with the little rolley ball spreading the ink.

Oh, there was a basic undersketch in pencil in the beginning, to shape things out. But what you see on the final product is indeed all pen. Something I would have done completely freehand wouldn't look that clean..
