oh sorry for the late reply! well clipping masks are like the onesw you have seen on tis tutorial, to create them well u have to create a new layer and brush there then hide that layer and make a new layer, after that u go to image>apply image and then u unhide the layer with the brush then u go to the applied image layer and right click on it, you'll see that it says ''create clipping mask'' u select that and after that u just move that layer around and that's it ^^

new layer, apply image, hide it, new layer, splatter brush, unhide applied image layer, move it over the brush layer and right click create clipping mask
