Weird, I know. Um...just sketched for the fun of it really. She's my new character ^^ I don't have a name for her yet...umm...yeah.

Ooooo! That's some heavily inspiring shading you'd done on her, it's very fun looking! Not to mention, but I will anyway, that it as simple as the monocromatic shading is, it still has a feel of being splashed in a lot of vibrant light from up above of her somewhere. Lightsourcing done right is a splendid thing, I need to learn how to do it. xD
Her hair, face, lips and outfit are all super cute, I like this chara! She seems to be a sweet, kindhearted person, judging by the peaceful mood of her posing and the innocent, inquisitive look on her face.

This is superb, i really encourage you to do more of the same, this is a very good style you have going for yourself here. The symmetry in this piece gives the image an overall perkyness to it, like she's alert and listening. The hairstyle is godly and so is your shading. If you ever decided to color this i'd say go for pale soft watercolory tones, steer away from harsh black outlines, her figure shape already is very emotive and i think strong outlines would ruin her. Powdery chalks would work well perhaps.
The pose, the proportions, the expression and the way the shoulders slope make this one very cool piece of artwork. She reminds me of a cola bottle with the curves XD The fabric folds in her skirt are spot on and her legs are perfect. A lot of artists have a hard time drawing crossedlegs but you've got no probs at all. Did i mention how much i love her hair? Oh i did, hahah. Brilliant pout!

The coolest thing about this drawing is the symmetry, it's really well done. I also like her clothes and her lips - her overall style is pretty cool, and the shading is nice. Good work.
