This was drawn specially for one of my friends. It's of Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa from Neon Genisis Evangelion. Yes, it's a shounen ai pic. This took me about a couple of hours, and is my most recent drawings. I used colored pencils, oil pencils, white ink, and some water colors.Related content

I finally hung it up... It has a nice little silver frame and everything. I'd prefer it matted, but I didn't have the money. ._.;; Is a good reminder of good things... *nodnods*

Those wings are really detailed... The expression could be a bit more natural and relaxed though, and Kaworu looks a bit stiff. Still, nice piccy. ^_^

Seriously....Kaworu with wings is total eye candy for me. I admit I'm not a yaoi fangirl but I do love the "gaurdian angel" theme whether it is Kaworu to Shinji, Rei to Shinji or even Kaworu to Rei (I'm such a sucker for the crimson-eyed couple). The eyes look a little awkward to me. They kinda look like they are looking into each other's forehead rather than each other's eyes. But that's really the only thing I can say is bothering me about it.
Once again I am just drooling over those wings. I'm really impressed with them. Wings are so difficult to do.

That's exactly how I picture the Shinji and Kaworu relationaship. I don't see them as a yaoi couple, but as an interpretation of God's relation with man instead.
