Hahaha! You're probably right. It would look more amazing in person. To see such detailed work and done on a paper.

LOL naww it's all the post-photo editing that makes it look better than it really is :'D

Hhahaa! That's one helluva photo editing talent if it is! I'm practically love your style of arts anyway. I hope I can as good one day.

Ahhh thank you! ;u; Drawing on such a small space makes it really tricky but thankfully 0.03 and 0.05mm multiliners exist :'D The ink does feather/spread out a bit but at least from far away it's not as noticeable ^^U

That's amazing. ; v;
Your control is nice
My lining is always bad ///
Do you sketch it out first ? O:

Thank you~! ;w;<3
Yeah, I ALWAYS have to sketch things out first...idk how people can just pick up a pen/non-erasable drawing tool and just draw things without needing to plan it out first orz My sketches are always really messy and more times than not when I go to ink it, I will mess something up and my sketch doesn't become realized as planned >___> Unfortunately after inking, I have to erase all the pencil lines which also causes the ink to "erase" a bit and become faded so after erasing, I go over everything in ink again...I'm sure there's a more efficient process but that's usually what I do ;u;

Aaa, I see. O:
You must sketch really lightly then, because you can't really see anything. ; v ;b
Rightt?! I'm so envious. That's how I'm pretty much trying to practice right now, but how to proportion.:'D..
Oh, noo. The ink erases? D: It doesn't smear, though, right?
In my opinion, at least, I think traditional is harder than digital. ; v; With digital, at least you could adjust everything.. but traditional.. it's, like, what you have is what you get.

Ooh yeah I try to keep my sketches light otherwise I could also run into the problem of the lead not erasing or permanently smudging...Half the time I can't even tell what needs to be inked since I draw so many lines to correct the sketch instead of erasing first orz
The ink doesn't smear (you just have to let enough time for drying!) but I think the fading is something you can't avoid bc when you erase, you are either lifting the surface "particles" off the page or removing a super thin layer of the surface...I think that's why people sketch with blue lead, because it won't show up when you scan the image :> I have blue lead but since I tend to take a photo of my traditional art when it's a doodle, I figure I have to erase anyway >__>

Aa, I see. c: I feel like some artists use tracing paper, I believe ? O: When you sketch, though, do you actually sketch circles/lines/etcetc before you draw the eyes/features ?O: I see good artists that just draw the character out of the blue.. like.. wao. D:
Oh, I see. O: Sometimes mine smear.. Maybe I don't let it set enough? I also have an issue of the ink not coming out.. not sure if I'm just moving it too fast or something. ; v; AH, blue lead doesn't show up on the image? O: I thought they did that and then used tracing paper.. ; v ;//doesn't know the process after though.

Aa, I see. xD Oh, you do that, too ? c: Yeah!! The artists that just draw from scratch are amazing. ; o ; Since I draw mostly chibis, though, no sketching is really required. ; v; ;
Oh, I see!! O: I used to use sharpie pens.. // AH, yeah! I use the Sakura Micron pens, but I only have the 0.5, 0.3, and 0.1 (I think I lost the 0.1...) though! I have funky ink flow for the black pens, but the colored ones are fine. ; o; Maybe I just hold it incorrectly? I slant mine. Either way, my picture tends to look worse when it's inked. xD I don't have any tools to color it, either.. unless I use color pencil. O: Do you own copic pens?
Ah~ I see. : -D Thanks for the cheat! I didn't know blue/yellow don't scan. Do you scan it with color or black/white?

Yeah I used to draw completely freestyle without any guides back when I didn't care about anatomy and such but now I feel like I /have/ to draw guides no matter what just to make sure it'll turn out proportional and whatnot :'D Even if I'm drawing chibis, I still draw the guidelines on the face and sometimes do a rough stick figure sketch before drawing the actual body orz
Hmmm I know a lot of multiliners act as technical pens so they're meant to be held has perpendicular as possible to the page (I had to look this up since I remember always wondering why I had inconsistent ink flow). I think you can still draw with a slight angle but it shouldn't be more than 45 deg (and even that is pushing it). The straighter you can hold the pen while drawing, I think the better the ink flow just bc of the way the barrel is designed and stuff ;w; My art always looks worse when it's inked, and I think a part of that is bc with the pencil lines, you can define the thickness but once you ink, it's harder to get that differing lineart weight without going over certain parts over and over again. Not to mention that if you mess up when inking, it's nearly impossible to fix orz (something that I do very often >__>)
I do have copic markers but I hardly use them mainly bc the looming price tag scares me so I always feel bad when using them to get more practice I want to one day get better at using copics though..There are many less expensive alternatives so maybe I'll start getting those markers for practice purposes...
My printer/scanner is actually not the best when it comes to copying artwork so I usually scan in color and then adjust it with a computer program ;w; But I think that's what most artists do when they scan their art bc there's no way a printer can fully capture your artwork accurately so there'll always be adjustments to be made
