Aww thank you!~  I know a lot of people who love SAO but I just couldn't get into it...I guess it's just not my kind of anime genre haha.  It was a lot of fun to draw for my friend though!

I love drawing fanart because it's a great way to practice drawing since there are so many references to look at!

You're right! It is a great way to practice! I always tell people that! You did a splendid job here, what do you use to draw?
I find that SAO is harder to get into this season.

I draw with a Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet and use Paint Tool SAI.  I also have Photoshop CS6 but I find it easier to draw using SAI.  The only downside is that SAI doesn't have nearly as many features as CS6 since it's strictly a drawing program, but I guess that's why so many artists do touch-ups using Photoshop.

And yeah, fanart is definitely the way to go when it comes to practicing in my opinion!  The screencap redraw meme is also pretty fun to do for practice ^^
