HIII <3 it's been so long
I promised I was slowly coming back so welp, this tutorial is for my dear student and I'll be doing more; I tried to make this the simpler and easier it could be done in case you do not have photoshop (I believe you can do this steps using other programs like SAI since I only used basic tools).
This is more or less how I colour my eyes, I often change the style but it really depends on the character I'm doing, with serious ones I do simpler eyes but with happy-pretty-nice ones I put much more details...

It's really pretty, I admit, but it doesn't really matter how good you can draw if you don't have tablet :/ I do understand that a tablet is worth spending money on, but if I want to pay for a tablet other people normally use, that'd be more then 100 or 200$, and 1 dollar is 5, 6 HRK in my country, so 200$ Would be 1120hrk, which is fucking expensive, at least for us(I'm not trying to be hateful, rude or mean, by the way).

I can understand but where I live 1 dollar is 13.13 Mexican pesos.. so it's even more expensive here, a 200$ tablet would cost 2, 627.499 MXN. so yeah, well... but thanks
actually, I believe this tutorial you can use it with mouse or trackpad. you just need the pen tool, dodge and burn tool and shape tool.

yes, a tablet is a really big advantage for drawing, but If you persevere and if drawing is what you really love doing it actually doesn't matter what you use. everything is mental. having a tablet doesn't mean it is going to draw for you.

I'm trying to draw with a mouse, but it's just not the same. It's a lot easier for me to draw with a pencil then have a shaky mouse draw shaky lines.
