There's no real background for this image. The idea of Aelita as a specter saving Jeremie has been on my head for months or even more. I did a sketch earlier this year but discarded it almost right away, and only thanks to Tyler419 's encouragement I decided I should give it a second try. I'm posting it now because weeks have passed and I still like the final result.

We all know XANA is very persistent trying to kill Jeremie, and Jeremie is very stubborn when we talk about dying so easily, but sometimes there is nothing left to do once he reaches his own limits. When seeing her boyfriend in danger, Aelita won't hesitate to go after him. Then, love is materialized in wings of an angel.
