My take on Topic #2 "Summoner" of our bi-weekly art challenge group on FB. This round's rule is that everyone must choose one country/culture to base their designs on. Mine is Tibet,Since I'm very fond of its mysterious,peaceful beauty. I wish I could go there someday
The summoner boy design was inspired by Tibetan Shaman,On the back is the Mountain God. (Who's a little upset right now cause he's been summoned out in his sleep)

This really is quite the enjoyable piece. Others have failed to comment that the summoner is also stepping from wire to wire, adorned in cultural cloth. The piece has a feel of air to it, as though everything is flowing seemlessly, yet has the true to culture detail in both respect to environment and garb. The character of the summoner itself has a more modern feel, ethnicity differing from the region which is a unique take in its own right. As for the summon itself, seeing it crawl through the gorge in the mountains, cloaked in a morning like mist, gives the feel of altitude commonly known to the Himalayas. Focusing more on the summoner itself rather than its surroundings, and keeping the summon feeling as though it is the calling of the summoner asa more background character is fitting to the theme. Over all this is quite an enjoyable work, and I would personally love to see your take on other regionsand cultures such as Italy or Egypt or China. Two thumbs up from me, keep up the amazing work!
