Stuck in an endless loop of her own making because of a mental breakdown, Scarlet Witch endures hauntings of her failures and loss of her loved ones.

Dr. Fate, a magician from Gotham, notices something off with the percieved current reality. Things are out of place as he's able to locate Scarlet Witch's energy signature and tries to save her from her own mind and from destroying the world all the while giving her reason to live.
