Description I was going through some old sketches I had lying around as I cleaned up my new place.
I found one I drew some time ago but never got around to digitally drawing.
I think I drew it when I went to watch my sister get married back in 2012. Yep; the sketch is THAT old. XD

While I was there (back in California) I also had time to visit a close friend of mine. and I met up again and we sat down at a Starbucks to have some coffee. Like always we would discuss many things that we were interested in. He's pretty much one of the few people I know IRL I'm close to whoΒ I can openly talk about stuff like TUFF Puppy, Sly Cooper, MLP, and of course...Regular Show.
Although my artwork doesn't show it and I haven't seen a whole lot of it recently (due to me not watching much TV anymore to begin with); he andΒ  Iare indeed fans of Regular Show. We were talking about some of our favorite episodes during this time.

All of a sudden this little kid walks up to us and asks us a pretty "out of the blue" question. The way we spoke about the show must've had him thinking me and Kei were the actual creators of it. Although not actually quoted; he did indeed want to know if we were.
Of course me and Kei were honest and said, "No we're not" in a very politely way. Not sure if the kid was disappointed; but I could remember him asking us that and how I wanted to recapture that moment as best I could.

So yes; that's me as my raccoony self and that's Kei as his foxy self. The kid here is a young husky pup. Wasn't sure how old he was or what exactly he waswearing; but I'm willing to bet he was at least eight.
I just thought it was pretty cute he assumed we were the creatos. X-3
I guess he's not used to grown men talk about cartoons like that in public. Heh heh. XD It was a cute innocent moment; and I remembered it when I came across the sketch,.
Having talked with again; I told him I would eventually color it. And; I did. ;D

Here's to good memories mate. Let's hope we meet up again some day when I am back down in California again.

Seems like most other folks I know here who live in Cali are from Northern California.
Me; I'm from So-Cal. In particular; the OC. (Practically right next to Disneyland.)
Haven't been home in a long time now that I live in Missouri; where I know too few people.

Aaah. My older brother lives down in Garden Grove and his girlfriend actually works at Disneyland.
I've been to So-Cal about 3 times in the past 2 years. Pretty damn nice down there I admit.

Yeah, I actually do love watching "Regular Show" whenever I get the chance, especially since I've also been watching it ever since it first aired back in 2010. The show has a lot of really awesome pop cultural references in just about every episode, including the occasional 1980s pop song being used at least once in each episode as well. Even though it doesn't have as many anthro animal characters like in some of the other cartoon shows that I enjoy, the characters are all quite appealing and likeable nonetheless, and it has become one of my top favorite Cartoon Network shows to watch.

Ah, such a humourous, but heartwarming memory of our times together. That Starbucks holds great sentiment for the times we got to rendezvous together. And to have a child ask the innocent question really tickled a good feeling of the whole situation. Excellent choice of a husky for the unnamed kid, since they're an adorable species. Whomever and wherever he is, may he continue to enjoy Regular Show as mutual fan. Thank you for bringing back one special time shared between us. Love ya, coony bro and miss you lots. What can I say? I think huskies have become my favorite dogs. Especially when I look up pictures of them as puppies. The kid may have no name; but he certainly invoked something special from us. You and I both shared a nice time together at that Starbucks; and here's to hoping for more future rendezvous in the future.
I hope he still enjoys it too. It's a great series; and it also makes for a great comic book. (I have a Hastings near me that sells those along with Adventure Time comics.) They're pretty awesome and inspirational quite honestly.
Miss ya too. And you're gonna show Mr. quintel it too? Epic. I gotta say; he still has done the show far better than I could've. ^__~

LOL! In all honesty haven't seen that one. But among my favorite episodes was where Mordecai and Rigby set up a fright night movie and they end up summoning actual zombies.
I like those three characters as well; alongwith Muscle Man. XD
