This is my first Rattlesnake Jake drawing: so the quality is not as good as I hoped for. (Having to draw all those scales.)But there is no denying that the rattlesnake from Hell is definitely picking up more fans and fan work. Those who saw Rango no doubt loved this bad ass pit viper with his gatling gun rattle.
I haven't drawn Rattlesnakes a lot so drawing all their scales is especially challenging.
But this was just an exercise to get me back in the groove of drawing. And I wanted to do a Rattlesnake Jake picture before progressing forward.
Cool villain and an overall cool character to draw.

I think your rattlesnake looks really good,especially the scales and his face... I don't know if snakes have faces or if it's calle something else

What a kickass drawing of him! I havent seen you do something in a style like this for a while... I think xD but it is indeed a great drawing of him. I've heard so much about Jake and this movie, I plan to go see it with a friend sometime soon when I can.
Anyhow, you did do a good job with drawing him here though, great detail work with his scales here and the colours too ^^ real badass looking, indeed.

Yup. Rango was awesome. Rio is coming out soon (it's from fox, true, but it actually looks pretty cute so you never know) Kung Fu Panda 2 to kick off the summer season.
