Drawn for 's Art Jam where we take an OC of ours and draw them in a Mario Kart type racer.For this piece I also took a queue from Crash Team Racing; from the title right down to the castle racetrack. Only instead of Cortex Castle; it's Lady Malmsteen's castle and the setting is her homeland of Petsylvania.
Imagine that track? Racing through spooky graveyards, forbidden forests and her giant creepy castle too.
And there's the Lakitu to drop the flag and declare her the winner. The Lady comments on how the 'Blue Shells; make all the difference. They really do. XD Those things are absolutely lethal.
Not shown are the racers she defeated. I like to keep my pictures neutral; so I didn't depict racers like Dudley, Kitty, Snaptrap, The Chameleon or Keswick getting beaten by her Blue Shells of doom.
Now she'll walk tall and proud to the Winner's circle. As if her ego wasn't big enough already. XD
The kart I designed for her seems to pay homage to many things. The front end of course carries the Batman logo. On the side of her car appears to be a green rat with its eyes bugging out. It's a tribute to Rat Fink; the bizarre rat and other crazy drawings that inspired many a strange decal for hot buggies.
And finally the canopy above her head as well as those motors. It was inspired by 'The Munsters'' car. In fact the racetrack itself seems to have a soundtrack reminiscent of the theme from The Munsters. It somehow just fits with the TUFF soundtrack for something more creepy and kooky:

Her car was fun to design. XD And I love that look of victory in her eyes. XD

Nice Work for most a Car is not easy to draw you need to understand 3D and its elements very well to do that and I like the race track and Malsteen's expression

Well... when in Mario Kart, never regret using your blue shell... just pray you're not in the receiving end of it. XD And as someone who's been playing LOTS of MK8, they are not that common... but they are NO LESS infuriating. XD
I DO very much love the design of Malmsteen's kart! I can definitely see how all the bits and pieces of inspiration that surround the vehicle, yet it works well as a whole. For a minute, I thought her emblem was a green Snaptrap getting strangled. XD
I also get the Cortex Castle feel vibe from the track- and it works well for Malmsteen's Castle. I'm guessing her track has a lot of annoying sharp turns and booby traps everywhere. At least there's no lava. XD
And come on, Malmsteen only won the Queen of Summer contest a year ago- I don't think she needs another victory. Though it's only a matter of time until somebody knocks her down a peg.

I remember first playing Mario a Kart on the SNES with my cousins. Fun times.
Well, you did an excellent job with Malmsteen's racer. It suits her so perfectly and I like the little homages. I admit, I first thought that decal on the side was Snaptrap.XD Though in his defense, he isn't as ugly as Rat Fink.
I bet Malmsteen's castle would make a pretty awesome race track. No doubt she'd know all the hidden shortcuts and wouldn't stoop to some dirty underhanded tricks. Course this is a race where you can use shells and banana peels against your opponents so, pretty much anything goes. Or knowing the Lady, she'd just use her good looks to distract the other racers....the male ones anyway.
Love her smug/smirky expression. Like there was ever a doubt she'd lose. Heaven help us if she had lost.XD Wonderful job.

I remember playing it with my friends too. It was fun and still fun; even if people are more into the newer ones.
The idea of a TUFF Puppy racing game really does sound fun.
The roster would of course be:
Dudley, Kitty, Snaptrap, The Chameleon, BirdBrain, Keswick, The Chief, and Any of Snappys minions. (Ollie or Larry. XD)
The Lady could be one of the bosses. XD
But Id like a TUFF racing game with or without OCs.

Well I imagine one of the weapons would be a Bat Charm: which she would fire at her foes to distract them. Oh the possibilities for TUFF themed racing game weapons.

Putting the beautiful bat queen into a Super Mario Kart scene is quite an interesting approach for her. Never would've pondered her as the racing type. Still, it's good ego fuel for her. Damn those blue shells in the later versions of the game series!

You know I never pondered Princess Peach as the racing type either; but she sure showed everyone when she entered the first Mario Kart. It just goes to show you that royalty has a habit of surprising people sometimes. (Aside from countless atrocities throughout history...)
Those Blue shells haunted many a gamer when the day finally came when a horrifying discovery made its way into the Mario Kart series: there IS something deadlier than the Red Shells.
Ah yes; the creepy coupe of hers and the haunted raceway. I was picturing how the track would look planned out: starting line through the pet cemetery, then up the winding haunted mountain, then across the bridge into her castle, and then repeat at least 3-5 laps depending on setting.
I had a feeling a masked fox would be waiting for her at the podium with lovely roses to commemorate her victory. He always seems to show up during her big moments in life. What a gentleman. ;D

It could be a possibility, since I was able to draw a couple of pictures involving my original version of Whitnee hanging out with Mario as well.
