Ahhhh~~ My bebe.
Okay so clearly you have seen no cosplay photography from me. Ever. LOL BUT-- that will change next month after Akicon.
So for now, to hold you over, here is Skye.
I bet you'll never guess who he is channeling. A Ryu sculpt has always been a dream to own... I finally got one. He is everything I could imagine and more. He is a Migidoll Ryu head on a Demon Garden V2 body.
I did not do the face-up or anything awesome like his necklace. I just put him all together. <3
Any other questions I shall try to answer.. ^^

They are resin ball jointed dolls! (BJDs or dollfies as some call them.) There are tons of companies out there with different sculpts. Everything is customizable and pretty insane. <3 Warning. It is SUCH an expensive hobby... and addictive. And fun. AND AWESOME.

WELL let's see. I bought the body a while ago. It was about $200. (I have other dollies, Skye is just my newest. Some share the body~)
The head I just got for $210 with faceup.
Then the eyes were $15, wig $10, necklace $25 (which I got 4 years ago for another doll), pants and shoes were $20. Then he has a jacket on the way that I purchased for $20.
So all together... sadly around $520... BUT this is from collecting, selling, and buying since 2006.
I've been into the hobby pretty long.

I think BJDs are worth it, as long as they are taken good care of. I don't own one, but with all the customization that can be done they must be hard to resist. A few more years and I might be able to buy myself a BJD.

Yeah they really are worth everything. Having a one of a kind doll that is your own, is wonderful.
