Description A few months after the end of Megaman X9: Impact , the main cast of Lamed (one of my MMX timelines--this one doesn't follow canon): X, Zero, Axl/Lambda, Iris, Lumine/Nu, and Solid worked together, along with human government leaders in the organization Nurse of World, to remake the world in a way that makes sure reploids and humans can live as equals.

To meet that end, laws were made. Laws to make sure that reploids are paid living wages and are not forced to work for an inhumanly long time--as they used to, because of racism; and to go hand in hand with that law, as the yin to that yang, is the law that mandates reploids to have limited lifespans like humans.

Naturally, more than a few reploids hated the notion of having their life cut short to accommodate humans after living to work for humans anyway. In time, the mob turned into an army...

REMUS
Remus is the second-in-command of Romulus, his twin brother, who was the leader of the army. As a former maverick hunter of the 0th Unit sub vanguard, he backed up the main vanguard, which consisted of Romulus and Zero, among others.

He was part of an experiment to observe if identical reploids can branch out into different personalities even though they are exposed with the same/similar experiences, much like human twins.
Both Remus and his twin Romulus joined the 0th Unit of the Maverick Hunters, but Romulus branched into the "warrior" class while Remus branched into the "thief" class.

They faithfully served in the Hunters until the new law was established--the worst part to them was their superior Zero agreeing to it without any objections whatsoever. How could Zero approve a law that forces maverick hunters, who risk their lives and limbs for humans every day, to have their lifespan cut to accommodate the humans anyways?
Betrayed, the twins resigned from the Hunters, and joined the army afterwards. Remus, who was always close to Romulus and worked best with him, became Romulus's second-in-command, while he commanded the army.

Their aim? Force the lawmakers to reverse that law at gunpoint.

DESIGN NOTES
Megaman X: Senbonzakura was based off the Satsuma Rebellion, that opposed the Meiji Restoration--basically, part of Japan's history. So I based Remus off a ninja, and I deliberately picked Romulus's (and consequently, Remus's) colours so he looks like something resembling a Zero knockoff. This will be slightly relevant in some of Romulus's backstory, which will come later.

But me taking Romulus and Remus, figures from Roman folklore, into MMX: S that is based on Japanese history? I was confused myself; but somehow, it worked.

I'll elaborate more on Remus and the others after everyone is fully posted.
