and I had a conversation the other day... about his character (on the pic)He says if his story (not yet manga,but I hope one day) is published his character would NOT have fans... that he's not a fan material...
And I SOOOO disagree with him...
So I decided to draw his paladin and ask you ppl on DA...
Would you like this guy?
He's a paladin,very righteous and strong... a bit traumatized...
He's half elf, half human...tho his apperience is almost whole of a human (only slightly pointy ears (which are covered by hair)
I don't want to go into details (~Riaky wouldn't like me to go into details neither)...
I know a lot about the character... he's actually very well developed and personalized...
And I just don't see how he wouldn't have fans...especially fan girls...
I really like this character...and besides my own characters I drew him the most (tho never post on DA)...
He just have that karma...
Too bad scanner killed the pic...
Why do evil scanners always kill traditional media?

Well, how could I tell if I like him or not if I don't know anything about him? He does have potential for hawtness though. But the whole "righteous" thing makes him sound like a cake eater. So boring. XP But I could be wrong.

I will criticize this heavily: ...jk This character looks interesting enough. Why wouldn't I like him? What ain't not never to lyk? huh?! If you say he's developed, then he has definite potential for fans, I think that's a given for sure. On first sight, I'm very judgmental, but after knowing who or what they are, it changes. So... lol. Publicize his inner workings, so that his outer ones may be appreciated. Such, is the manner of all fictional characters (and real ones too I suppose.)

Is by sure a great design of him... someone serious, very competent and ready to protect other people...
what is interesting is the drawing style, makes it look like... how can I say? Well, like there is something grim or sad about him. Specially when we consider his eyes, the expression.

My oppinions can be swayed by two things, a good storyline/villain for a struggle and some tweaking on the shape of his eyes. (I'm more partial to angular eyes on such a masculine character)

Being abit paranoid has never done much harm, though showing off isn't that bad either. If you are different from the mass and out there then it is much easier to fight against the stealing issue - you just stand out so much that you are known more by the art you make and if you have art made long before the other guy (handmade art, with ugly rubber marks you wanna hide) , you can always prove, it was you, who made them by showing the originals.
