Description Did this months ago, I think I spent half the time fiddling with the colours... looking at it now I think they're not quite as cohesive as I would normally do, but in this case the seperate parts of the picture really needed to stand out. I used a similiar technique to 'orchid', and a car wing mirror as a starting image (again). Photoshop only.

i absolutely love this style. altho i hesitate to ask because you probably won't tell, but how do you get into doing this kind of work? how would one start acheiving the talent you have?

yes, but i wouldn't even know where to start? i've never used the pen tool and don't know how. i'd love to learn vector art, but don't know of any good tutorials or ppl who would have the time to teach me.

very psycadelic as usual.
you dont by any chance sometimes take special mushrooms, do you?
by the way, how do you always get ur pics so clean. You never have any jagies, even though you are obviously disorting shapes...please tell me

big up. thanks

Shinybinary In reply to donniedubson [2004-11-15 15:38:47 +0000 UTC]

I work at twice the resolution, then shrink down to 50% at the end to avoid distortion. (Best way to shrink down like this is actually to go to 50% zoom in Photoshop and use a screen dump rather than actually resizing the image using one of Photoshop's tools.)

I really need to sit down and just learn everything about photoshop, I don't think I can do anything like that with photoshop alone right now. The colors are nice and lively, so I think its a nice choice. Looks like a dragon or something from fiction, very nice.

The colors are really tight, about the form, is weird because don't transmite any feeling to me.
I like this type of abstract stuff, and you're the master.
well done my friend.
