It's Krampus. Don't know who Krampus is? Here is an article on him. [link] He's pretty much the Anti-Santa. (By the way, I don't really like rotten.com that much, but the rotten library is a totally awesome site and I could spend hours reading stuff there. I totally recomend it if you're bored or at work or anything like that.)

Well, I was going to have a more complicated background, but naturally I ruined it. Now I don't really like the way his little beard looks against the black. Tell me if you think I should keep it or get rid of it.

This is going to be one of my submissions for another one of those things the art teacher keeps asking me to submit stuff to. I'm hoping it will offend some kid's parent or something. Any tips to make it more grotesque are totally welcome.

EDIT: I added sharper highlights and shadows and then rescanned it. I like it better this way. I'm having trouble with my scanner though. The last one was too washed out, and I feel that this one is too bright. I'll figure out a good way to scan it eventually.
