My submission for Our Pokemon Tribute (137of304 spots are taken) hosted byI selected to do Jynx using her Ice Punch attack and decided to take some inspiration from Wonder Woman for the pose. I know it's not great and there is a lot of room for improvement, but this style and even look is way out of my comfort zone (I don't normally draw people shapes haha) so I am pretty happy with the final result and look forward to developing more like this in the future maybe
Get involved with the gallery and the group if you can - it would be amazing to see all the Pokemon finished

First, i love your shading. I know, it's not really objective, but i had to say it.
Next, the idea is really original, and the comics style is well-done. The impact of seeing this freaking violet woman trying to punching you gives a lot of impact and even scares a little bit when you see it. However, it's funny, original and really impressive, the only thing i can say is that the colors are too flashy and mashed, and i don't really the creepy white eyes. But it's fine, and i think you did really good job, i liked it.

Secondly, apologies for the late reply - I haven't been able to reply using my tablet and, as my partner has been working sleepover shifts, I have had limited access to my home computer as of late.
I am glad you liked the shading, it is a style I am unfamiliar with and I was very worried about it. You have eased my mind a bit.
Thank you for your thoughts regarding the strong colours and the eyes - admittedly, I used a Jynx sprite to base the colours. Hopefully I will find the time soon to act upon your advice and augment this piece of artwork as it could be so much more than it is.

Back in Gen 1, I always associate Jynx with a strong woman / super woman type of image.
This picture reminds me of my childhood.
