True sorry if it seemed like I was hating your Idea I wasn't trying to. The only reason why I consider Thestrals vamperic (meaning they suck the fluids out of something else) in nature is because of their mythical counter parts which feed on the blood of Pegasus and can turn invisible but can still be seen by people who have had a run in with  death.

To me the bat ponies ARENT Vampires. A vampire is defined as a creature or corpse that walks around at night to drink the blood of humans or other mortals. The bat ponies drink the juices of fruit as far as I can tell. That's not vampiric.

I've always thought Vampiric was always something that sucked the fluids out of something else you seem to have a more decisive meaning of the term verses my wide range idea of it's meaning.
