Once Jeremy began to realize he was dozing off, he forced himself to wake back up. As his eyes began to adjust to the darkness, he could hear heavy breathing... but it wasn’t Lance’s usual soft snores. Jeremy quickly felt around the sheets for the knife and gripped onto it. He turned towards the direction the breathing was coming from and held the knife out towards whatever could be lurking there.

”I-I don’t know what you are, but stay away from Lance! I’m not afraid to fight you if I have to!”

Jeremy could hear something moving around the room, he was trembling slightly but tried to keep his guard up “I d-don’t know what you want with him but if you plan on taking him, you’ll have to take me too! I-I-“ He froze and fell silent when he felt a hot breath on the back of his neck...
