never got around to replying. i appreciate your kind comment. with this, i really wanted to further explore his concept from a non-western interpretation (maybe "adaptation" would be more appropriate here)of anime, but alas, i am American too D:

wow...i'm flattered--to think, i was just trying my hand at fanart for the 1st since becoming half-decent at this craft...y'know, since high school, ive withheld my submission of Robin in this series of teen titans fanart on account of some rather curious reasons. maybe i'll revisit it once school lets up a bit.

yep, part of the work was breaking this perception that he couldn't "be", or "do", given the flaws written into his character; it was a great mental exercise.
