Description Time for commission again, my commission-free rebellion was beautiful while it lasted

Thank you, thank you, thank you ~MickelHiwatari for being so patient!! According to my notes, the commission was made in October 2010 so I thank you once again for being so patient and I hope you like it

... Traditional art is so nostalgic But I could not get the same result as the commissions made with the tablet. But with a little tweaking in Photoshop the picture became brilliant

The concept here is soooo cool! Amazing the way you took what I said and drew that mask, really brilliant! And I loved it... and don't worry, I didn't mind waiting for this ^^

Wow, cool! I love how she's holding the smiling mask that's alway seen in acting -- I can never remember what they're called! Her hair also looks very nice - the design AND the way you drew it.

I don't know the name for it either
But when I was told about her personality the creator said that she was funny and sarcastic all the time, just to hide her sadness. And I thought of these kinds of masks (:

Thank you

You're welcome! The mask is a very clever metaphor for her personality... and now I feel like I'm back in english class. o.O XD

In english class, we always talked about metaphors.

I see. We always talk about grammar here
But I still enjoy English the most (L)

I live in a country with English as the main language, so our "English" classes are actually mostly talking about writing... I don't really understand the name.

Ah, I want our English lessons to be different for a day
I go on a school that concentrate very much on the English language

Ah. My school's foreign language class is really horrible.... I'm trying to learn Spanish, but mostly I'm just learning completely useless words on how to identify school supplies... *like I'll ever need to know that.* But I still love our foreign language classes! I hope to be able to start taking a Japanese study in a couple years.

I'm trying to learn Spanish too, and we don't learn very much either. There are 3 Spanish groups in my school and it seems like I got into the worst of them. But I don't blame the teacher though ('cause he's adorable), my Spanish class is ruled by the loud and stupid people

But I too still love my Spanish class Mostly because of the teacher and because we are the only class that gets to use iPad.

I hope to learn Japanese someday, but I live in a city with little choices. There is only one school that teaches Japanese but I hear that they are going to close the school

Same, everyone is loud and talks far too much...

Aww.... that sucks. Fortunately, our secretary is Japanese, and teaches an independent study on it.

That's very neat that you do that!! You must have a lot of motivation.

Haha, yeah

I think I can do it because I kinda taught myself English

Wow. Your english is very good, so you must be adept at teaching yourself.
Every time I try to learn a language, I end up not knowing anything very useful... mostly just insults and absurd exclamations.

Shiraishi-Amaya In reply to KatarinaWolffe [2011-07-16 22:47:26 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I guess. Most of my hobbies are also self-taught

Ah, insults are good to know too xD 'Cause then you know when someone is being mean to you. But bad language is not so common in most Asian countries like Japan or Thailand. Even though I came from Thailand, I know only a few insults compared to English insults

But when I self-study Japanese, I find it helpful to translate songs from Japanese to English as an exercise. Maybe you can do it too when you study Japanese C:

That's a fantastic idea -- translating songs. I'll definitely try it some time!
