This picture is beautiful, I share my experience: A few months ago we had to do a little monologue from "Romeo and Juliet" adaptation of "Pablo Neruda" and while all the girls in my group wanted to be Juliets, I decided to be Romeo, and interpret the scene where he dies, and says goodbye to his beloved Juliet.
It was a process in which I understood much more to my essence, learning my own experience with love: D

Answering your questions:
How I discovered myself through this process? It was really a magical process, because it is curious that most girls dream of being the star most beautiful and nice attention. But in my case, I was going through a stage where it needed to be defined as a person, and I wondered how deep is the love.
Then to read the story, I found the Romeo monologue, when he begins the farewell of Juliet. And imagine telling that to a person who I love dearly, and that's when I decided, because I needed to get my feelings, and that's how I do it.
I will tell you that during the process, I learned techniques besides acting, I learned to defend my personality and what I wanted to fight.
It is wonderful that you asked me that, since it is now when I see how wonderful it was.
The scene was very sad, and to represent Juliet, I use a rose and Juliet, was represented by a rose, very beautiful indeed.
And when we started practicing again and again, remember that I prepare for my shift. And if I wanted to describe in words what happened, I would not be enough.
It was not until the end, I saw my teacher and classmates crying.
