chinese panther. a lil dedication to and just to say thanks for your help and comments and everything the last few weeks ,i realy appriciate it. CHECK OUT THERE FAB GALLERYS. the picture is thanks to and hears another i also drew form there lovley gallerythanks alot for taking a look

hello! which material are you using to paint this?
it´s really a nice panther, eheh, cute. but it´s lacking something on the expression, a bit too neutral, maybe... confusing.
and i feel that it´s lacking something to recognize more depth. it´s a sort of shallow, in my opinion... this for me is the main problem.
the eyes are good, but maybe they could be even brighter. and their anatomy and shape could be better described, i think.
but in the arm it´s interesting how the spots help to make the volume.
anyway it´s very interesting how you could put so many tones and colours here, how long did you take to finish this work?
what about the "moustache"? interesting, how could you do that? i had difficults on doing that on white colour for a cat myself... (because i use watercolour.)

hi there mauricoi thanks so much for taking the time to citique my drawing,i used derwents colour soft pencil on soft cartridge paper ,it wasnt the best combination as it was realy difficult to lay down any amount of layers to the colour.and was realy hard to erase too,for the wiskers befor i start colouring if you use a hard white pencil and press hard to put the marks in it gives you a nice line where to colour too. then i just added a little white gel pen when id finished,if i was using just graphit pencil i would use a sharp edge of and eraser to put in the wiskers and highlights.not sure how you would do it with your water colours but you could try it.the nose and ears and front leg bug me but i thinck its my best one so far.thankyou very much i realy appriciate it .oh it took about 20 hours or more i lost count.

This is so adorable! The face in the actual photograph is longer but I prefer the one you drew because it's so cute! And wow you did a great job on the fur! and also the bark on the stump! very nice!

hi thanks yes my picture is longer too but i photographed it sideways and when i turned it around it made it shorter.thankyou very much for your kind words
