I prefer you ask permission first, but as long as you're not selling or distributing the image in some way it's ok. Can I have a link to the site so I can see?

im not sellign it, but rather making free profiles.
i used your picture for the background and then added the extra stuff and then made the coding for usage

Ah, I see. I'd love for my name or website link be included somewhere if that's alright. (You can make the text tiny.) Also, let me know when you implement the design, I'd like to see it in action!

hi hi

This is really good. Did you really draw that gal on the cardboard for real? If so, I have no idea how you managed to get such nice lines. Either way, the concept is great too, I think the cardboard gives it a sort of back alley feeling, though maybe she's supposed to be floating in the clouds?

thanks so much! Yes, I just sketched it first, then used a brush tipped pen to ink. [link] <-- this is just about my favorite pen in the universe, it is water based ink but the line weight it produces is fantastic.

Yes, use your own interpretation of what's happening! I was just sort of playing with techniques and seeing what works. The clouds are acrylic ink btw!

hi hi

Thanks for the tips, I'll have to try out one of those pens when I get a chance. I'll just have to find a place that sells them. Also: I'd never even heard of acrylic ink before, I guess you learn something new every day.

acrylic ink rocks! liquitex is a very well known brand that offers it, you can probably find it in your local art store!
