Good news is it's finally done; bad news is that I forgot to give it a tag, so nobody on the MOTHER tag will see it. D:
EDIT: I got the tag on tegaki fixed. ^____________^

So yeah, Mother 3 has stolen my life. Between this and FMA, I might as well not exist in reality.

...I feel like a bad person for liking this part of the game, though. Really. D: For those who don't know Mother 3 (sadly, I wouldn't be surprised), or wish to avoid spoilers, it involves those mushrooms in the background...

The mailbox was originally going to have a malicious face, but I dropped it. Claus was going to have a bloodstain on his shirt (a reference to a really, really scary line), but I dropped it. the words in the bubble are from the mailbox on the island that contains "countless letters", and is one of my favorite lines on the island. There's also Claus's "Let's trade places!" line, Flint's "Did you do something to her?" line, and the whole "Everyone you love. (Implied Muahahahaha...)" scenario referenced throughout. There's a bunch more references than just those, of course, and those that have played through this part of Mother 3 will hopefully be able to catch most of them.

...for the record, I don't condone eating strange 'shrooms. Also, I don't own Mother 3, although I do own the Unofficial Mother 3 Fanbook, which is one of the most amazing things ever.

...Detailed Tegaki is hard. Rewarding, but...jeez. D: I don't think ever want to put this much thought in to a tegaki entry ever again. >.<
