My sister is very fond of axolotls, so I made this for her.ΒThis took about an hour and a half to make, I think.

It is a cutie and I think it represents the animal fairly well. If anything I could say to try seeing what it would look like with smaller eyes as they tend to have that kind of feel about them with smaller eyes and a wide mouth. I feel the addition of the red on the antennae(?) were a good choice to represent the fluffier feeler like bits on their heads. Though I was a bit confused at first because I thought it was more like a pokemon haha with the legs how it is. I'm unsure of your capabilities but would you be able to even go beyond the flatter look of this and create more of a fuller body for it. I think that would really solidify what it represents

My sister requested the big eyes and the flat shape so that she can use it as a mouse hand rest.
I am not well skilled in making 3D toys using felt cloth yet.
