Description Harry Potter fanart ^_^.

Featured from left to right: Remus Lupin, James Potter, Sirius Black, Lily Evans, and Severus Snape. Back in their school days, aren't they cute? Drawn by hand with mechanical pencil, and then polished with a permanent Indian ink marker and Photoshop. I would have colored it by hand, but it was just too much work *sigh*.

I know that quote. But do you understand it?

There was only a chance for Lily to love Snape romantically if Snape wasn't Snape.Β He would have needed to be some one else as the full quote adds:
"he had not loved Dark Magic so much, and been drawn to such loathesome people and acts."Β 


Β The key word is "might have". So even if Snape had been a completely different person, a nice and caring person for a change, he would still only have a chance. That means a possibility, nothing more. And the fact that James existed and was the type for Lily, both in apparance and character, pretty much ends thatΒ possibility.

But Snape was who he was, so there never was a chance. James was the one for Lily. By her own character and feelings.

Style choice I suppose . I figured the opposite of red is green and Snape is just about as far away from Lily as one can get...

That, and the colors work for their Houses (as corny as that may be).

No, I haven't posted it. I fell asleep sometime and when I woke up, I started working on it again. It's a Lily thing. Her head bothers me.

I think I'll post it anyway, when I clean it up. I was too ambitious for my talent. I wanted to draw Lily next to the moving staircases in motion >_> then I remembered that I'm not all that great in the first place. XD
