I went back to making something I'm more comfortable with and ohmygoodness did I feel so... relaxed doing it (yesss bring on the smoke). Also, I didn't get bored at all while making this, which seemed to be the trend when it came to this kind of manips recently. Then again, this isn't really a portrait, so... Something different about this is the low contrast that I don't usually use, which I think successfully adds more atmosphere to this piece.
