Description
Madrine is one of those characters for one of those stories I made back in the day, and never actually made any art-art of outside of doodle soup. She's a witch! And she busts through life, trial after trial, by growing exceedingly bitter about never having things go her way. Her personal journey revolves around how she finds her way to the bottom and then out of the doom-spiral, while her starry-eyed best-friend she can't stand is off saving the world from stuff happening.It's a little more complicated than that, but that would be Madrine in a nutshell.

Sounds like an interesting story. Great design--very classy--and the cool colors fit her dour personality.
Though I can't help but think Bayonetta when I think of "witch" and that crescent moon brooch.

Very nice, I like the bluish coloring to everything. It all seems very appropriate to the Halloween season.
And I like the fact that you gave her glasses. In fiction it's very difficult to find a pretty heroine with glasses. Those are usually relegated to sidekick nerds.

I have met a Madrine-esque character .. the negativity was like a way of siphoning off energy .. from other levels, ... I think ... at least that is what I discovered!!
...
And, I determined not to be overtly negative any more as a result. Hard lesson to learn, but an even more devious feeding habit, I think.
