AHAHAHAHA I LOVE THIS. I have a gelding who likes to snorkel about in the pond-- he'll put his head underwater and paddle about.
One note about the tail- the mane is all floaty like it's underwater, but the tail is kinda hanging as if it were on land. I await the next one eagerly... I'd love to see a horse with floaties!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not satisfied with the tail either, but I tried different things and nothing else looked good. I'm glad you like the mane, it took me forever to get it right. ^_^
I think I might do a horse with floaties. I have an idea in my head and hopefully I can get it into a piece of art.

Thanks! And I appreciated the tip. This whole thing was pretty much made using new techniques to me, and I've never done a horse underwater before so I didn't even think of the gradient thing.

Yeah me too. I also thought about shadows afterwards and realized I hadn't done them until after I had uploaded it to dA. Oh well I'll do it next time. xD
