I'm so happy- Susan makes such a convincing guy to me. XD yay make-up.
I guess this would be a preview shot~
Kimonos are easy to make----but SO MUCH WORK.
I made the costume, Chloe/Sushi Monster made the wig. I also fixed her wig and made the extensions longer. I actually had to take apart the wig and rebuild it. It was coming apart from the back.
Susan made her Larva costume.
If you don't know Miyu, VPM is my favorite anime in THE WORLD.EVER. I love her. ;_;
The series is very dark and beautiful. Larva and Miyu are very close and affectionate, especially in the manga.
Miyu is a guardian vampire who has a fate to seal away all the demons/shinma until there's none left.
Larva is her guardian until her final days.
Miyu's more popular kimono variation is her white one (TV) or the manga version (red sash). This one is from the OVA 2nd episode with Ranka. She wears it in the scene where she and Ranka are fighting each other.
I really like red...wanted to do something that wasn't white for once.

I loved the pacing of Vampire Princess Miyu the anime.. which made me read the manga and I lovelovelove the relationship between the two of them (did you manage to read the sequel too? *A* I forgot the title though...)
And so, I would love to say: wonderful cosplays and protrayal, I also very muchly love the tinting/post processing done!!

Very pretty! If you haven't cosplayed as Yuki Cross from Vampire Knights then you totally should! I only watched the firts episode cause it was fan dubbed in english but I read up on the whole story and it's pretty awesome.

I got into it in high school too (I was 16?) and saw it randomly at best buy...the art looked pretty and I bought it. I didn't know I'd get so obsessed! Did you start OVA or TV?

omgomg XDD I don't want to say the ending cause you have to be surprised! The story is very good! The tv has 26 episodes (1998) and the music is so enchanting. I think you'll like it. It's pretty dark. I think...yeah!! You have to see. ^__^ I feel like it's hard to describe without spoiling. XD
