two semi new characters. semi because they've been in my brain a while and only just recently decided to really show their faces XDanya and sawyer. names are in order!
sawyer is a GIRL. she has a boob, see? it's small but it's there XD she's supposed to be androgynous yes.
much thanks to *Ryuuka for her awesomely awesome gouache scans. how the heck to you spell that anyway?
beh, well robbie they made awesome textures XD
im really happy with how their skintones came out mostly! no reference!!! it's WAY more fun!!
in the storybook category again cuz i have no idea where else to put it honestly...
oh yea, the pencil lines for this are in my scraps if anybody wants to look ^_^

I knew Sawyer was a girl, It was Anya I was unsure about. Of course the name tipped me off. I love this picture, it's I don't know emotive, the textures really add to it.

I remember seeing this awhile ago and being disappointed that I never faved it. It's really an awesome piece. I love the character concepts and just how...intimate this is.

They're both gorgeous! These are real, modern lesbians here rather than that old-fashioned butch/femme mentality that everyone has. They're both such believable looking characters, I adore them and I don't even know their story!

I was bored, and browsing DA when I stumbled across this piece. My first thoughts were, "Hey! They look like a real lesbian couple!" And it's true! They remind me of women I already know! And that's so great!
Also, the implied sexual tension is supurb.

I love Anya's design, the clothing you put her in and her hair, makes her seem very delicate, and the skin tones are great, this has a very personal mood around it.

thank you!!! these particular textures were done by a friend, just scanned in guoache textures. but usually i use ink washes from my own scanned in collection ^___^

I think Sawyer's really pretty, in a "tough girl" sort of way
Skin tones are so lovely. I love how you have the slightly flushed cheekbones, so that the skin isn't all one solid color, its sort of patchy (like real skin tones!) So good!
