Yes i agree,but here in the photo they are not refugees, just my group hiking in the region.

I love this shot. We have a lot of them here in Colorado too, at least we did last year. It looks like most of them are coming back. They are always good for hummingbirds and bees, if you want to try to photograph them.

here they grow along the roads, and people planted them in private gardens.every year there are more,most of them pink but also white and crimson.

the seeds were intentionally spreaded on the roads and fields and now we have a lot of them.
