Description There is something missing in this picture... I can't figure out what it is, but something is missing. It's in the dead center of my paper and it seems a little empty, like there should be one more element to it, but I just don't know what it is. And since I can't figure out what it is, for the momment, I croped it a decided to post it here.

Anyway, I drew this picture in english class (Instead of reading). I drew it cuz I was having a lousy day, and I kept thinking "I need a pick-me-up". Somehow that got me in the mood to draw. I drew this picture based of the feeling of passion. To me, this is what passion feels like. The best way I can explain it is that it feels almost pure, I guess. Something that completely motivates me and inspires me, but relaxed at the same time. A feeling where there are no negative thoughts. (Really, I can't put this in to words as accurately as I'd like) I hope you feel something from this picture.

At first I was going to do a ball of light that she was holding, but I went with flowers instead. But that aspect doesn't really affect the over-all meaning of the picture. I just wanted it to be something that she could hold close and dear.

*Last thing: I didn't put a "mature content" restriction on it cuz I don't think it's that bad. But if any of you think so, please let me know and I will change it.

The lines are very beautiful. Whereas I would've put her head flung back, I think the closer inward angle is more expressive of the title. I can see the "flowers" as something between flowers and light. I especially like how the pieces drift away. They remind me of maps of the world, further signifying the idea that when your world is falling apart it is a passion that hangs on until the end. Personally I don't see this as a picture with stark areas of contrast, solely light in many different colours. If you were to colour it, red is a good color to symbolize life and sustenance.

I suck with colour, so I probably won't ever get around to it. That being said, feel free to try it for yourself. Also, I see where you're coming from with the angle of the head, and I agree, it would match the tittle better. But the type of passion I was going for is more to the relaxing side. (that's the best I can word it, sorry >.<) And as for the crumbling, that's totally not what I was going for (in fact, I don't think I was going for anything haha), but I really like how you interpreted it! Because that's actually kinda how I feel when I'm passionate about something, like nothing else matters in that moment, nothing in the world. Thanks so much for your input, I appreciate it
