Yeah, Fury maturation...that's how most folk are seeing it. Dunno if they'll make much play of it in the movie, but it gives some good scope for character development in the dragon and future storytelling.

Yes, exactly. In any case, it seems to indicate that even in dragon years, Toothless is on the younger side as he has not completed his physical maturation. Might throw a wrench in some plot bunnies that have him being the oldest of his kind, however
