Description Themes in mind for the two shown characters:

Saki Omokane: Quiz Nanairo Dreams (Tatsunoko vs. Capcom) [link]
Nuku Nuku: Fine Color Day (performed by Megumi Hayashibara) [link]

Finally, the last of the drawings from the first half of the "N-Team vs. Wonder Army" art project has arrived. And this one is rather a bit advanced from the order that i was supposed to do all of them. Then again, i did skip a few in order to do this one. Anyway, this one sees Capcom's ordinary girl who is also more of a member of an international Earth Defense Force, thus the gun she carries in order to defend the earth from evil forces. Her name is Saki Omokane. And the rival she's facing off is none other than the cute catgirl robot (or androbot, rather) known as Atsuko Natsume, although she'd prefer that we call her Nuku Nuku.

For Saki, she mostly comes from a japanese quiz/dating simulation game known as Quiz Nanairo Dreams. The game was released in two different formats: One in the arcades and the other on home consoles (the Playstation and Sega Saturn to be exact). In the home console, Saki'S name was as it is, but in the arcade version of Quiz Nanairo Dreams, she was actually called Saki Kaneibo. Her name, as well as six other girls that were in the game, were based on candy companies, to which they originally sponsored the game in Japan. Out of the seven heroines that were in the game, Saki has gotten more recognition than the rest of them, as she also appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom as an assist character and in both versions of the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom game on the Wii as a playable character at start. Saki's moves are more gun-based and so are her special moves. For those who played Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Wii, you know how Saki struts her stuff with those guns of hers. Just don't provoke her in one of her specials, otherwise you'll be in big trouble.

In the 2010 version of Captain N, Saki's abilities would prove sufficient for her to join them, although since she comes from a japanese game, as well as a village that is not exactly from the japanese area, Saki would only speak in japanese in front of the N-Team. And while Saki thought that she wouldn't be understood, she found out that despite her language, she is understood by them, thus her help was somewhat required to defend Videoland from Mother Brain's evil forces.

As for Nuku Nuku, she's a lovable pink haired androbot that has got the brain of a cat, although the reason for that is because she had used to be an ordinary cat, until an accident killed the cat in mind. Luckily, the eccentric scientist Kyusaku Natsume transferred the cat's brain into the prototype androbot, thus Nuku Nuku was born. Her goal is to defend the world from the somewhat fiendish ambitions of the company known as Mishima Industries... although her story had been somewhat altered a couple of times in all three different versions of the All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku anime. Regardless, Nuku Nuku is a nice androbot girl with the brain of a cat that likes to have fun, although she'll do what she must in order to protect the people, including her young "master", Ryonusuke Natsume and her creator (Ryonusuke's eccentric father) from Mishima Industries's evil plans, to which Kyusaku's overprotective wife, Akiko Natsume, works for.

Although when the Wonder Army was looking for a replacement for a member that had left, due to attitude problems, Snake and company somehow turned to Nuku Nuku, but while her cat-like attitude was considered to Snake to be even more troublesome, at least, he saw that her desire to protect people would be the one thing that the Wonder Army would need. Thus, she was hired to join the others in the Wonder Army, although there are times Snake wonders if he has made the right choice to bring her in.

Now, you're wondering why i'm saying that for Nuku Nuku, eh? Well, i was normally supposed to give Lum Invader (from Urusei Yatsura) as Saki's rival, although i then realized that she has absolutely nothing in common, right after i saw some videos of the anime show on Youtube, seeing that she was a bit more rough on the edges in terms of her somewhat snobbish attitude, since i realized that she came from outer space and that she was from a royal family there. So, as i purchased the entire collection of the Nuku Nuku anime, my mind then clicked on who could truly replace Lum Invader, that being Nuku Nuku.

Anyway, for the themes in mind for both:

Since Saki Omokane comes from the japanese game, Quiz Nanairo Dreams, it's pretty obvious that the music based on that game, but as heard in the japanese version of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes, should be her official theme.

As for Nuku Nuku, there are three different main themes of her anime show, but the one that fits her more is the song known as Fine Color Day, to which it is performed by J-Pop artist sensation, Megumi Hayashibara. Believe me, i know nothing of her, although her voice is amazing. Maybe i should find one of her albums somewhere in Montreal's Chinatown if i can.

Copyrights of the aforementioned belongs to the following:

Saki Omokane: (C) Capcom
Nuku Nuku: (C) Yuzo Takada, Kadokawa Shoten, MOVIC and Starchild Records
The Fine Color Day song: (C) Megumi Hayashibara

If you're not familiar with Saki, it must be because you haven't played either Marvel vs. Capcom on the arcades (nor on consoles) or Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, amigo.

But at least, you're familiar with Nuku Nuku (must be because you own the entire DVD set of her three anime shows) and that's all cool by me.

Regardless, thanks for the fave on that one too, Gambu.

Well, do give it a shot with her at some point, seeing that you got the game.

Better yet, give it some practice in Practice Mode, just to get the hang of her move set, amigo.

As i mentioned in the description, of course.

For me though, Saki didn't click on me too well at first, when i first saw her in that game. But by playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on my Wii, now she began to click more on me.

Yep, although for the title, i had to struggle in my mind in trying to find something that fits with this drawing.

It wasn't easy, Donald (unlike the other ones that preceeded it), but i finally found the perfect title for it as i had posted that one. Anyway, thanks for the fave on that one, my man.
